Support At Work

	Assessment: A face to face or telephone meeting with your employee to discuss their current situation, treatment/therapy being received and level of daily functioning. The emphasis is on exploring the current barriers preventing them from returning to work. Assessment report: With the employee's written consent a brief report is sent to both employee and employer covering the main areas of the assessment. The report will contain solution focused recommendations to overcome your employee's current barriers to a return to work. For example: Suggestions of local help (NHS and Voluntary Sector) that can be accessed Liaison with the GP to get more information on treatment plans and obtain a prognosis for a return to work Advice and guidance to help the individual improve their ability to manage stress, anxiety or depression. Case Management: Lorna can continue to provide expert support to both you and your employee by providing case management services to put the recommendations into action. The objective is to move towards a safe and supported return to work at the earliest opportunity. Lorna provides essential advice on return to work planning including phased return and temporary adjustments to duties. Liaison with treating professionals: In our experience GP's and specialists are often more likely to agree to an employee returning to work if they know professional support and monitoring is in place. Lorna can correspond with the medical team to gain agreement on return to work plans. Costs of Service: Written confirmation of the fees involved in each part of the service will be provided and agreed with you before any work is undertaken so you remain in complete control of the costs.
